About Italo Jofre:
"Italo brings with him over a decade’s worth of winemaking experience that ranges from California to Chile, including his most recent role as Wine Ambassador for Concha y Toro’s entire portfolio.

[Italo has worked] alongside some of South America’s most acclaimed winemakers, notably the famed consulting enologist, Alvaro Espinoza.

He has been a popular guest speaker at many top venues including the American Wine Society and the Epcot Food & Wine Festival. He has also been interviewed on TV and radio shows in the US and Chile.

Italo does not hail from a winemaking family. His interest in wine was sparked while taking wine classes in the pursuit of a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Chile’s prestigious Catholic University. From there he went to Tulsa College, Oklahoma, to perfect his English before moving to California where he continued his wine education and gained his first hands-on winemaking experience.
Italo is responsible for all export operations for Concha y Toro, as well as overseeing top-level export operations for Trivento, Concha y Toro’s sister winery in Argentina."
